Bye, bye, bye money

I recently cut cable tv AND internet. It was a big step. I'm missing it greatly.

Here's a quick run down of streaming services, but... notice the problem???? I don't have home internet. My only connected devices are my two cell phones. (Old one and new one. I got a new line for my old cell phone.)

Here are some internet plans that I would have to have FIRST.

So, it would be $30 (cable) + $35 (TV) = $75?

Right now I'm at $15 for HBO Now, no home internet, TV antenna, two cell phones $90 unlimited internet with Tmobile. That's pretty good in my opinion.

I'm still thinking I need home internet. What would you do? Here's my options... $45 bucks a month (after taxes) to Comcast. I've always had good reliability and customer service with them. Shocking I know. But that's $45 I'm saving! I keep saying that I would get home internet if I could share it with someone.

Right now I haven't felt the pinch of no home internet. I do play video games, read, invite people over etc. Not having home internet really hasn't impacted anything.... yet. Just that nervousness of FOMO (fear of missing out.) I had to hear about Michael Phelps and the great white shark race on NPR and on my cell phone. I miss my DVR that I was renting from Comcast. It had my favorite shows all lined up.

Now I just watch what's airing live. I bought a cheap RCA dvr which records TV antenna. I don't use it. It's there if I desperately need it.

That's it for this week.
